This semester, I will be changing my major at Moody Bible Institute - Spokane from Missionary Aviation Technology to TESOL, also known as ESL: Teaching English as a Second Language. God has directed this change clearly, and I am walking in expectant, joyous faith as I watch Him work in my life.
For those of you whom are closest to me, you know that language has always been one of my passions. I am excited to pursue language to the furthest end, and hopefully to use language to spread the love of Jesus to the world, whether by going or by writing.
As far as my love for flight and my desire to become a pilot, that dream in my heart still glows brightly, but God has made it clear that now is not the time to pursue that end. And so I take a step in faith, with a deep breath, knowing that I can trust my Heavenly Father with the desires of my heart, for He has never failed me.
"By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went."
~Hebrews 11:8
